A few words about miniature art. As defined by some miniature art organizations, Miniatures are 24 square
inches or less.  Some miniature art groups require that the subject matter cannot exceed certain scale
(usually 1/6th) on the work, I do not restrict myself to that practise.

Current trends in the Miniature Art World

ATC & ACEO  - ATC stands for "Artist Trading Card" and ACEO stands for "Art Cards Editions and
Originals" and must be 3.5x2.5 inches.  ATC'S & ACEO's can be any medium and done on any support.
An ACEO can be an original or a printed edition of the original, but must state such.  For more information
on ATC's and ACEO's visit  this
LINK.

OSWOA stands for "Original Small Works of Art".  They are 6x4 inches and can done with any medium on
any support but must be flat enough to fit into a standard size photo album sleeve. They also must be an
original, not a print.
OSWOA IS A TRADEMARKED NAME for more inforamtion go here

Miniatures are a great way to collect affordable, original art!  They are easy to mail as a gift, fit in your
luggage if you are travelling and are fun to collect!
